N-Pire Drops Another Visual For “In Your Head” Off The Album “Legends Never Die”
This Week N-Pire does an interview with Jenesis Magazine for the Unknown Known.
Jenesis- What prompted your start for your career path?
N-Pire- I started fairly young but the first record I can remember hearing that made me want to do music was Hall & Oates “Out Of Touch.” The first album that made me want to pursue Rap music was 2Pac’s album “Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z.”
Jenesis- Who first recognized your talents and what it meant to you?
N-Pire- The first person to recognize my talents was a childhood friend’s older brother. I was probably a freshman in High School when he started providing us with equipment and means to record. His younger brother made beats and I was the artist, in our early recordings we would have to hit Play/Record on the tape and he’d have to play the beat all the way through on the VFX keyboard while I recorded on tape. If either one of us messed up we’d have to stop the tape, rewind and record from the top all the way through again. A few years later that turned into Acid Pro and a MPC2000 and eventually everything else. Thank God for Pro-Tools…..
